Tournament Overview

  • Format: 5v5 (Team-based)
  • Entry Fee: Free
  • Game Mode: Standard Unrated/Competitive Mode
  • Eligibility: Open to players of all skill levels
  • Platform: PC
  • Communication: Teams must use Valorant’s in-game voice chat or a designated third-party voice service (e.g., Discord) for team communication.

General Rules

  1. Registration:

    • Teams must consist of 5 players. Teams may also register 1 substitute player.
    • Each player must provide their Valorant Riot ID and Tag during registration.
    • Players must be 13 years of age or older.
    • Teams are required to register by the deadline provided by the tournament organizers.
  2. Team Composition:

    • A team must have exactly 5 players in the lobby before the start of a match.
    • Substitutes can be swapped between maps but must be registered before the tournament begins.
    • Players cannot switch teams after registration is completed.
  3. Tournament Format:

    • Group Stage: Round-robin or double-elimination depending on the number of participating teams.
    • Playoff Stage: Single-elimination bracket.
    • Best-of-One (Bo1) will be used for group stage matches, while Best-of-Three (Bo3) will be used in semi-finals and finals.
    • Map Veto: Teams will alternate banning maps in Bo3 and Bo1 matches until the required number of maps remain. The lower-seeded team gets the first ban.
  4. Map Pool: The following maps will be available for selection:

    • Bind
    • Haven
    • Split
    • Ascent
    • Icebox
    • Breeze
    • Fracture
    • Pearl
    • Lotus
  5. Match Setup:

    • Round Win Condition: First team to win 13 rounds (with a 2-round difference in overtime) wins the match.
    • Overtime: In case of a tie at 12-12, the standard Valorant overtime rules will apply.
    • Each team starts on the attack or defense as decided during the map veto or through a coin toss by the tournament officials.

Gameplay Rules

  • Agents:

    • All agents that are officially released and available in the game are allowed.
    • Agent selection should be done in the pre-game lobby. Once locked in, players cannot change agents.
  • Cheating & Exploits:

    • Any form of cheating, hacking, or using third-party software to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
    • Use of known exploits or bugs in the game will result in disqualification.
    • Suspected cheating should be reported to the tournament administrators with evidence.
  • Pauses:

    • Each team is allowed 2 tactical pauses of 1 minute per match. Tactical pauses can only be initiated at the start of a round.
    • In case of technical issues, teams are allowed to request a technical pause. Technical pauses should last no longer than 5 minutes unless allowed by the tournament administrators.
    • Abuse of pause privileges will result in penalties.
  • Disconnections:

    • If a player disconnects during a match, the team may continue playing with 4 players or request a technical pause to resolve the issue.
    • If the disconnected player cannot reconnect within 5 minutes, the match must continue.

Conduct and Behavior

  • Sportsmanship:

    • Players are expected to behave respectfully towards opponents, teammates, and tournament staff.
    • Toxic behavior, hate speech, racism, sexism, or any form of harassment will result in penalties, including potential disqualification.
    • Teams are encouraged to report any misconduct to tournament officials with evidence.
  • Streaming & Spectating:

    • Teams are allowed to stream their matches with a minimum of a 3-minute delay.
    • Spectators are not allowed in the lobby except for authorized tournament staff, such as casters or referees.

Penalties & Disqualification

  1. No-Shows:

    • Teams that do not show up within 15 minutes of their scheduled match time will forfeit the match.
  2. Forfeits:

    • If a team forfeits or is disqualified, their opponent will receive a default win.
  3. Rule Violations:

    • Violation of any tournament rules may result in warnings, forfeitures, or disqualification at the discretion of the tournament administrators.

Match Reporting

  1. Match Results:

    • The winning team must report the match results to the tournament administrators within 15 minutes after the conclusion of the match.
    • In case of a dispute, both teams must provide screenshots or video evidence to verify the result.
  2. Disputes:

    • Disputes must be reported immediately after the match with evidence such as screenshots or video footage.
    • Tournament officials will review and make a final ruling on all disputes. Their decision is final.

Prizes & Awards

  1. Prizes:

    • Prizes for the tournament will be awarded to the top-performing teams. Specific prizes will be announced before the tournament begins.
    • Prizes will be distributed within 7 days after the tournament ends, subject to verification of the winning teams.
  2. Awards:

    • Special awards may be given for outstanding individual or team performances (e.g., MVP, Best Play).

Other Terms

  • Changes to the Rules: Tournament administrators reserve the right to modify the rules at any time in the interest of competitive integrity. Teams will be notified of any changes.
  • Final Decisions: Tournament administrators have the final say in any disputes, rule violations, or unforeseen issues.

By registering for the tournament, all players agree to abide by the rules set forth above and accept the authority of the tournament administrators.
