Rules

1. General Information

     1.1. Tournament Structure

The tournament will be structured around duo teams (two players per team). The format of the tournament may include group stages, knockout rounds, and finals depending on the number of teams participating.

The event will be held across multiple stages, with winners advancing to the next round based on their performance in each match. The format can vary between single-elimination (knockouts) or round-robin for group stages, leading up to the grand finale.

     1.2. Eligibility

  • Age Limit: Participants must be 16 years or older to compete. Players below the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

  • Geographical Restrictions: The tournament is open only to residents of India. Players from other countries are not eligible.

  • Account Status: Players must have a valid BGMI account that adheres to the game’s terms of service. Players with a banned account will be disqualified.

  • Team Composition: Each team will consist of two players (duo). No solo players or teams with more than two members are allowed.

1.3. Registration Process

  • Team Registration: Players must register as a duo team, with both members submitting their details, including in-game usernames, team names, and contact information.

  • Player Information: Accurate details of all team members must be provided during registration.

  • Registration Deadline: The registration process will be open until the official deadline. Late registrations will not be considered.

1.4. Tournament Schedule

The event will follow a clearly defined schedule:

  • Opening Ceremonies: The tournament will begin with an introduction and briefing of the rules.

  • Match Timings: Each match will have scheduled times. Any changes will be communicated to the participants.

  • Breaks and Intermissions: Sufficient breaks will be provided between matches to ensure players are refreshed.

2. Gameplay Rules

      2.1. Game Settings

  • Map: The tournament will use standard maps, such as Erangel, Miramar, or Sanhok. The map for each round will be determined before the match begins.

  • Mode: All matches will be in the duo mode.

  • Match Duration: A match will last until one team is the last standing or until the final circle is completed. The average match duration is around 25-30 minutes.

     2.2. Allowed and Banned Items

  • Weapons: All in-game weapons are allowed for use. This includes guns, grenades, and melee weapons. Explosives and throwable items (Molotov, smoke grenades, etc.) are permitted.

  • Healing Items: Standard healing items, including bandages, first-aid kits, medkits, painkillers, and energy drinks, are allowed.

  • Vehicles: All in-game vehicles are allowed unless specifically restricted by the tournament organizer.

  • Banned Modifications: No third-party applications, cheat software, or modifications are allowed. Players using any unauthorized software will be disqualified immediately.

     2.3. Platform-Specific Rules

Since the event is platform-based, participants must play the tournament on the assigned platform (Android or iOS). Players must ensure that:

  • Their devices meet the minimum system requirements to run BGMI smoothly.

  • They use the platform-specific version of the game.

  • The use of emulators is strictly prohibited in this tournament.

2.4. Cheating, Exploiting Bugs, and Fair Play

  • Cheating: Any player found using cheats, aimbots, wallhacks, or any third-party programs will be disqualified immediately.

  • Bug Exploitation: Players should not exploit any in-game bugs or glitches. If discovered, such actions will result in disqualification.

  • Fair Play: All participants must demonstrate respect, sportsmanship, and integrity throughout the tournament.

      2.5. Communication

  • Language: Communication between duo members can occur in English, Hindi, or any regional language, as long as both team members understand it.

  • Toxic Behavior: Abusive language, harassment, or toxic behavior towards other players or organizers will not be tolerated. Players engaging in such behavior will be penalized or disqualified.

     2.6. Player Substitutions

  • Substitute Rules: In the case of an emergency (such as illness or device failure), players can substitute a player before the tournament begins. Substitutes must meet the same eligibility criteria and be registered as part of the team.

  • Substitution Notification: Teams must inform the organizers of any player changes at least 24 hours before the match. Substitutes will only be allowed if the substitution does not disrupt the integrity of the tournament.

3. Match Rules

      3.1. Match Setup

  • Duo Mode: Each match will consist of two-player teams (duos) competing against other duos, with 100 players in total (50 duos).
  • Team Preparation: All players must join the tournament lobby at least 10-15 minutes before the scheduled match start time.

  • Warm-up Round: A warm-up round or practice period may be provided, where players can familiarize themselves with the lobby and make any final adjustments before the official match begins.

     3.2. Match Rules

  • Game Flow: The tournament will use the standard BGMI battle royale rules, where duos must survive and eliminate other teams to be the last team standing.

  • Safe Zone: The game will feature a continuously shrinking play zone, and teams must ensure they stay within the safe zone to avoid being eliminated.

  • Winner Determination: The duo that survives until the final circle or is the last duo standing will be declared the winner for that match.

     3.3. Player Connection Issues

  • Connection Disruptions: If a player experiences connection issues or disconnects during a match, the game will continue as normal. However, if a player disconnects within the first 5 minutes, the organizers may decide to restart the match, depending on the circumstances.

  • Server Issues: In case of server failure affecting the match, organizers will decide whether the match should be replayed or rescheduled.
